Michelle & Fabrizio : Engagement

9.12.2009
Bee Tree Park
Todd Studios : St. Louis Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of shooting Michelle and Fabrizio's engagement session a couple of weeks ago.
With lines from The Family Guy and other one liners, these two had me cracking up the entire hour. Their July wedding seems just around the corner and I can't wait-here are a few of my favorites. Oh! Michelle, thank you so much for the Starbucks, great way to start our session! Have I mentioned how cool my brides are?

Katie and Mike : Engagement

A very cool farm!

Let me tell you a little about Katie. Love her to death! We met when she asked me to design her wedding stationary for their November wedding. Katie is just as addicted to weddings as I am, so much in fact, she has a wedding coordinating company called Simply and Forever (Check out her blog). I'm honored to be shooting this girls wedding, she certainly is someone I can relate to in the industry and bounce ideas off of- so needless to say, when it was time to think of engagement photos, the sky was the limit.

Don't worry Mike I didn't forget about you...

Mike is Katie's fiance, they couldn't be any more cute together. I can't say enough nice things about this guy AND his family/friends have a farm. You guessed it-the engagement session site!
The 3 of us spent a long Sunday afternoon out at the farm, so long we ran out of light. These are a few of my favorites...Katie and Mike rocking the corn fields with a couch from my studio.
Check out her shoes, perfect touch! Wait until you see her wedding day shoes, fabulous Kate Spades.

A little dramatic lighting in the corn fields.
A few outfit changes and we were off to a different part of the farm...yep, she has cowboy boots also.

This was the last shot of the day in the sunflowers.
You two were great to work with and I can't wait until November!

Julia and Graham : Wedding

Saint Andrew's
Worlds Fair Pavilion

So time to back track a little and blog this amazing wedding!

Perfect weather, 4 shades of purple, a dash of vintage jewelry, fabulous flowers and snow cones are just a few of the hundred words that come to mind when describing Julia and Graham's wedding day. Get comfy-here are a few of my favorites!

Julia and Graham decided to see each other before the ceremony- Have I mentioned that I LOVE IT. The couple chose the World's Fair Pavilion for the special moment...
The couple certainly had tons of love from close friends and family to share the day with...thats right count them...30!
Then we were off to the Muny for more pictures...
Julia, you look stunning!

Julia and Graham, from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for letting us be a part and capture your day! Everything was absolutely amazing and the peanut butter and jelly cupcakes to die for. Best wishes and happiness.

I was happy I was able to be a part of their day, simply two incredibly sweet people and super in love! You would have never known that this couple planned their wedding all the way from Texas- the ceremony was beautiful and the cocktail reception was fabulous.
Here are a few sneak peaks of Sara and Garrett's wedding day-

I LOVE when the bride and groom decide to see each other before the ceremony. Sara and Garrett decide to meet at the Muny for their special moment and a few other photos.

How stunning is this bride!?!?
Garrett looked like a million bucks in his blues. My hats off to you Garrett and
all Military men and women.

Shaped like Texas with the arch over the top - the grooms cake was priceless.
Now this is certainly a way to cut a cake!
Sara and Garrett, I hope your travels back home to Texas were safe and wish you
the very best of love and happiness.

Personal: I vow

Just about every weekend I stand in the back of a church, up in a balcony or hide behind palm trees and witness a bride and groom so in love they make a vow to stay committed and faithful to each other-simply because they just love each other that much.

With wedding season in full swing I've not been so faithful and committed to my blog. So here is my vow- I Angela, vow that after taking fabulous pictures of fabulous people, will blog and share them IN A TIMELY FASHION because I simply love what I do.
